About Us
We are a public research foundation that works as a conversation curator and ecosystem connector, establishing year-round events and an annual festival that celebrates our understanding of well-being, mental health, mental wellness, and those affected by mental illness. Stacey Perlin's innovative designs, framework, and narratives, enable us to research this approach to well-being.
Mission & Values
Our Mission is to tell stories that help us to heal forward, together.

Through arts and culture projects, we support healthy brain development and promote mental health literacy. We innovate the mental health conversation with evidence-backed processes developed through our research, blend it with art, and then weave it into a narrative for fun and playful learning.
We provide pop-ups, workshops, and events to gather and learn together. Our Mind/Art adventures help you be well in the community, at work, and at home.
This approach gives us a deeper understanding of how we receive and process the world via cognition and emotion to generate a sense of well-being.

From a research perspective, we work to increase our understanding of how arts & culture relate to:
-
Perceived state of wellbeing by individuals and the community,
-
Actioning public health behaviours, and
-
Healing, within the context of forgiveness, across various cultures.
“Our role is one of advocate and innovator. I firmly believe that purpose-built spaces for playing out narratives are critical for us. Allowing us to evolve beyond what we know, moving further than our fears, choosing better lives for ourselves.”
- Stacey Perlin, Chairperson
As we establish operations and continue the discovery and community development process, our path forward allows us to contribute to the ecosystems we serve in a meaningful way.
Our Team.
