Past & Present Projects

Over the years, we've invested our time and energy exploring ideas and potential solutions, to bring us closer to our dream. We've tested ways to connect, play, and learn within multiple ecosystems and multiple levels of organizations. We continue to refine our initial designs and approaches to create the appropriate infrastructure that sets the tone, for lasting legacies.

How do you build a bridge to an arts and culture event that supports measurable well-being? How can we best support artists and culture trustees to collaborate on this celebratory community gathering that facilitates the transfer of mental health information, in a fun and engaging way?

01

Impact Framework

Our projects are designed from an Impact Framework that we made through training by the Social Enterprise Institute, a now defunct global training platform that was working in partnership with Carleton University's Common Foundations Program and Common Approach. We continue to work with Common Approach, to maintain our standards and practices around measurement and frameworks.

We believe that intentionally designed environments help improve retention of mental health information, increasing the likelihood of facilitating health information and motivating trialability.

We believe that emotionally complex arts & culture experiences are critical to developing holistic and human-centered mental health support.

We believe that crafting ideologically safe environments utilizing CPTED best practices for community development, ignites empathy and compassionate conversation.

Street Festival "Bridge"

In 2022, we partnered with Ripen for a project to create 3D renderings of a potentially viable structure that would make street festivals more accessible for those with mobility challenges, young families, and older adults. Our team of civil and mechanical engineering students received input from our municipal standards and insights from some of Calgary's best accessibility advisors.

Family Engagement in Research

In 2024 we participated in a micro-certification project through McMaster University, the Azrieli Accelerator at the University of Calgary, CanChild, and the Kids Brain Health Network. This training program grouped researchers, parents of kids with complex health needs, and industry partners to create helpful knowledge tools, that would improve the experience for all those involved.

Art for Social Change Network - Calgary Hub

2025 marks our 3rd year of leading through their Guiding Collective. As well, we've been grateful to work with Calgary Arts Development on their Living a Creative Life Congress. Along with additional training and learning, this has supported our integration of this global movement into our design infrastructure and impact framework.
