“Courage of the Community” Panel Event May 5 at 6:30PM
Join us for a variety of perspectives, speaking to the changes that took place to make Community Connect YYC a possibility, and then a reality. We are featuring 5 panelists for this event, including 3 of the original partners and 2 of the second phase.
Healthier Holiday Connections
Efficiency and safety seem to come at the cost of meaningful interaction. However, our existing work and personal relationships are being tested in ways we’ve maybe not seen before. How we chose to help ourselves and others is up for a refresh, if we want to keep up the good feelings during tough times.
Beating the Holiday Blahs
With a much different holiday season approaching, and with so many of us struggling to manage our mental health with all the social and economic stress brought on by the pandemic, it’s more important than ever to be in touch with ourselves, our loved ones, and any services we may need to lean on to keep us moving forward.
Youth & Family Mental Health
In that same study, approximately 4 in 10 youth aged 12–17 reported “a lot” or “some” negative impact on their physical health (link 1 below). Wherever you and your family are, however you are feeling today, here are links to some articles and resources that will help you find peace of mind for a minute, or for a few evenings.
